Cheshire Takes Seven Golds at the Special Olympics Fall Sports Festival!

Cheshire Special Olympics Golf Team 2007

Cheshire Special Olympics Golf ended their season on Sunday, September 9th at the Fall Sports Festival at Sleeping Giant Golf Course in Hamden CT.

This annual event was attended by Special Olympics Golf teams from around the state.

The Cheshire Team walked away with 7 gold medals, 3 silver, 3 bronze and 4 ribbons.

Lunch for the event was provided by Aunt Chilada’s in Hamden CT

Cheshire Special Olympics Golfers at Lyman Orchards Jamboree

Cheshire Special Olympics Golf Team

Coach, Peter Webster and members of the Cheshire Special Olympics Golf Team participated in the 2007 Lyman Orchards Golf Skills Jamboree on Sunday July 22.

The Jamboree is held annually at Lyman Orchards as a part of the Special Olympics Golf season which begins in early July and concludes with the Fall Festival Golf tournament held at Sleeping Giant Golf Course in Hamden.
